Hillsborough County - City of Tampa Water Atlas

This event turned out to be a bit shy of what we hoped for but those of us who were there cleaned up some trash and weeds, planted a few more plants on the banks and sent the rest home with a few people to rest on the banks for distribution to residents who could not attend.  Of the the volunteers there were four new familes included.  So all in all I feel like that made it a very successful event.   That was our last planting event for the year but we plan on having a couple of educational events in the up coming months.

We have students lined up to replace drain markers in the next few weeks. 

They will get credits for their volunteer efforts.

This has been a slow but successful year so far.
