Hillsborough County - City of Tampa Water Atlas

This was our first planting event.

We had approx. 20 homeowners join in.

We started the day with the educational portion of the planting event.  There where many questions and it put everyone into the spirit of the event.  Armed with all this pond knowledge everyone was eager to get started.

Most everyone was more than willing to step right in the lake and put in our new plants. 

When the plants were planted and the cleanup of the weeds for disposal was done we all retreated to the Bar B Que for grilled dogs, chips and Ice cold water.

We talked a lot about what we had accomplished and everyone is looking forward to the second planting event and of course can not wait to start planting the shorelines in their own back yards.

All in all from all the comments received for days after the event,

every had a Wonderful time.

We look forward to our next planting in May.
